In 1881 Guillaume Seegmuller founded Seegmuller & Co. in Strasbourg. Like many companies in the Rhineland, the company was principally involved in shipping, transporting goods by river and road, before later specializing in moves.
Moving with a changing industry, we joined the leading international moving organization, FIDI, as long ago as 1962; Demeco, the number 1 in moves in France in 1977; and UniGroup UTS, the leading international movers' network, in 2001.
In 1987 we established Seegmuller at Mulhouse, thus strengthening our presence in Alsace and on the German and Swiss borders. To respond to the increasing need for mobility among corporate staff, allied to the opening of borders to the east and to economic globalization, Seegmuller set up in Prague in 1994, in Paris in 1999 and in Lyon in 2006. Our thorough approach, stemming from family management of our companies and know-how gained from hands-on experience, have enabled us to combine the personal touch with company growth. In order to maintain an impeccable level of service, we are fully committed to a quality process, and enjoy certification to NF Service , FAIM and ISO 9001 standards. With an eye to the future and to sustainable development, our approach aims to protect the environment, by recycling packaging, using recyclable materials, rail transport, etc.

Mr. Daniel SEEGMULLER is the current managing director of the group. Mr. Christian LOTT and Mr. Jean-Charles SEEGMULLER are joint general managers.
